Asher
Asher is stimulated by movement she can control. The sensory equipment, funded by her local IHC Association is regulating and calming for her, rather than just being entertainment. It helps her get some of her frustration out. Asher also needed her own space, so the Association funded a TV, and a camera system so her mum can see what she is doing in her room and knows she is safe

Mathias loves his new bed
Mathias
Mathias was top and tailing in a bed with his younger brother. His mum was saving for a new bed but had been made redundant and was struggling. “I don’t like to ask for help and I want to provide for my kids myself, but Mathias needed his own bed and I’m so very grateful for it,” Faith, Mathias’ mum.
The local IHC Association bought Mathias a king single bed. Faith says it has been great as Mathias has started getting scared at night and talking about monsters, so she can lie with him and comfort him while he falls asleep.
