Your support is very important to us. We need the support of all New Zealanders to make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. We have many ways in which you can be involved in IHC’s good work.

Support IHC

IHC has been fundraising since it was founded in 1949 by a group of parents unhappy with the lack of opportunities for their children with intellectual disabilities.  Today, IHC’s fundraising activities pay for programmes to enhance the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

IHC’s volunteer programme is about making a positive change in someone’s life and gaining a new friend or learning a new skill in the process. It is about spending time doing what you want to do, when you want to do it, with a person with an intellectual disability.
